Commissioned by Lush for their Diwali campaign, this project involved creating a seamless pattern and a silk knot wrap inspired by personal memories and traditional symbolism. Campaign Link

Knot Wrap: The Light Within Us
The silk wrap design draws from the idea that the light we celebrate during Diwali also exists within each of us. Central icons like the golden pot, lotus, and symbolic hand gestures called 'mudras' express a balance of giving, receiving, and self-reflection.

I was also asked to create a seamless pattern for the gift inspired by Diwali

Inspired by memories of Diwali at home, this seamless pattern weaves together motifs from both North and South Indian traditions. Key elements include a soap-shaped rangoli, and a kolam made with rice flour—a form of geometric floor art that also feeds birds and ants. Symbols of nature, luck, fertility, and prosperity reflect the festival’s spirit of light and abundance.
